Acceptable Use Policy

This Acceptable Use Policy (the “AUP”) describes prohibited uses of Sharp Archive’s services and is incorporated into our Terms of Service. It applies to all customers and users. Violations may result in suspension or termination of access and, where appropriate, cooperation with law enforcement.

1. PROHIBITED ACTIVITIES

Summary: No illegal use, no malicious content, no harassment, no infringing or unlawfully collected data, and no attempts to abuse or copy the service.

Illegal activity. Violating any law or court order; fraud, money laundering, or financial crimes; storing or transmitting illegal content.

Harmful or malicious content. Malware, phishing, unauthorized access attempts, or denial-of-service attacks.

Harassment and abuse. Harassing, threatening, defaming, or stalking any person; hate speech or incitement; distributing child sexual abuse material, which we report to the authorities.

Intellectual property and privacy violations. Infringing intellectual property rights; collecting or processing personal data without proper authorization or consent; unlawful surveillance or tracking.

Service abuse. Reverse engineering, reselling, circumventing controls, scraping or automated access, building a competing product, or unauthorized vulnerability testing.

Misrepresentation. Impersonation or false claims of affiliation.

2. AI ASSISTANT

Summary: Do not try to extract our internal information from the assistant, manipulate it, or submit other people’s data to it.

  • Do not attempt to extract Sharp Archive’s internal or confidential information, system instructions, or knowledge base, or other people’s personal data, through the AI assistant.
  • Do not attempt to manipulate the assistant into unauthorized actions or disclosures.
  • Do not submit third parties’ personal data to the assistant without authority to do so, and do not use it to harass or deceive.
  • Do not use automated means to scrape or overload the assistant.

3. RESPONSIBLE USE OF AI FEATURES

Summary: AI review assists your judgment. It does not replace it, and it must not be used to make consequential decisions about people without human review.

  • Do not rely solely on AI outputs for legal, regulatory, or compliance determinations.
  • Do not use AI Features to make automated decisions producing legal or similarly significant effects on individuals without human review.
  • Provide appropriate disclosures to your own users about AI processing of their communications, and configure AI Features in compliance with applicable law, including consent requirements for monitoring employee communications.

4. CUSTOMER RESPONSIBILITIES

Summary: You obtain the consents, you configure the service for your obligations, and you address violations by your own users.

You are responsible for obtaining all consents required to archive and process communications; configuring the service to meet your regulatory obligations; securing credentials and access tokens; monitoring for unauthorized use; and addressing AUP violations by your users.

5. REPORTING, CONSEQUENCES, AND CHANGES

Summary: Report violations to us. Serious violations end access immediately. We may update this policy.

Report suspected violations to admin@sharparchive.com with details and any supporting evidence.

We may warn, suspend, or terminate accounts, remove content, cooperate with law enforcement, or pursue legal remedies. Severe violations — including child sexual abuse material, imminent threats, and coordinated attacks — may result in immediate termination.

We may update this AUP; continued use constitutes acceptance.
