Sharp Archive FAQ
What is Email Data Backup?
Email data backup is the process of creating copies of your email data to ensure it is securely stored and can be recovered in case of data loss. It helps prevent the loss of important communication due to accidental deletion, system failures, or cyberattacks. Sharp Archive provides an automated solution for email data backup, ensuring that your emails are backed up regularly, encrypted, and stored securely for easy recovery.
How secure is Sharp Archive's backup?
Sharp Archive uses advanced encryption methods to secure your email and data backups. Your data is encrypted both in transit and at rest, ensuring that it is protected from unauthorized access. Additionally, we employ state-of-the-art security measures such as multi-factor authentication (MFA) and secure cloud storage to provide a robust defense against cyber threats, natural disasters, and hardware failures. This ensures that your critical email communications and data remain safe and accessible when you need them most.
What is a Feed in Sharp Archive?
This is our term for a single stream of data into your archive or what is on your end, a channel of communication. This may be a single X (formerly Twitter) account or with some services like Facebook or LinkedIn, there are multiple things that could be a single feed. It may be a business page, group, or individual profile. Each of these individually are “feeds” which you can add or delete from your archive at any time.
How Does Billing Work in Sharp Archive?
Each month your payment will be drawn automatically and you will receive an invoice detailing the costs. A copy of the invoice is automatically stored for you in your account where you can download it.
Users may incur costs from the monthly cost and for connected feeds. We bill you in advance for the next month’s service.
Your cycle is the day of the month that you start services. For example, if you start on the 12th of the month, each new cycle will start on the 12th of the month. If you start services between the 28th-31st, then your new cycle will start on the last day of the month.
This invoice clearly details the costs and how they were calculated.
Does Sharp Archive Offer a Free Trial or Free Version?
Your agent may offer you a free trial period. However, we provide open access to a demo version of Sharp Archive. This demo doesn’t require you to provide your contact information or set an appointment. You’ll see what it does and how it does it. For most people this is enough to come to a decision. If you would like to talk to a sales representative, feel free to reach out to us. When you sign up, onboarding usually takes less than 10 seconds per feed. To see that demo, click here.
How Does Adding Services Work in Sharp Archive?
You can add services at any time. When you start services with us, you will receive a pricing quote (or sometimes directly as an invoice). Any services added will increase your costs according to your plan. The inverse of this is also true if you subtract services such as deleting a feed.
How Can I Close My Account with Sharp Archive?
Your experience with us will always be transparent and efficient, even your final one. Closing your account is never more than three clicks away from any place within Sharp Archive. It’s also in a logical location (1) Settings (2) Account (3) Close Account (you’ll see the button down in the billing area).
We bill in advance, so you will not owe any money at the time you close your account.
And that’s it. If you break up with us, we’re not going to throw all your stuff out on the lawn.
